On my computer, I have access to the 1920x1200 px and the 1900x1080 px resolution, so I guess it sould be compatible already.

Well, of course you can play mars in full screen mode with a display which has a 16:9 ratio.
But you will have black stripes on the left and right side, due to the game itself being limited to a 16:10 aspect ratio.
This has to be a fixed ratio since (once network gaming is possible) every player has to have the same size of space.
We already thought about migrating to a 16:9 ratio, since we are both playing on wide screens, too. But I think most players are using screens taller than 16:9....
