I believe the summary says it all :)
Allowance for more accurate display of vertically
oriented games would be my main goal. So I would be
more interested in the game running in such a mode then
the front-end (if that would be less work, what do I know).

740p support should be in now, the others will take more
time, as they will probably require skin changes.
