I am doing a wireless experiment. The testbed have 7 nodes. Each node has
two atheros cars, one in AP mode and the other in IBSS mode. There are
something wrong with the IBSS mode cards: sometimes the card stops to work,
it won't transmit any packet unless I reload the driver. This problem can
happen on every node, so I guess it's not the hardware bug.
I use Linux FC 4, kernel version: 2.6.11-1.1369_FC4.
The cards is TP-link TL-WN 650G, support 802.11b/g, here is te lspci output.
01:00.0 Ethernet controller: Atheros Communications, Inc. AR5212 802.11abg NIC (rev 01)
01:04.0 Ethernet controller: Atheros Communications, Inc. AR5212 802.11abg NIC (rev 01)
The madwifi I use is revision 1794, downloaded from SVN in Nov, 8th. The driver
load info is in attached file: driverinfo.
When error occured, I turned on all debug info. and get a lot of:

I noticed the README document in madwifi said "Ad-hoc mode is broken; symptoms
are intermittent operation". Since I have this 7-node ad-hoc testbed, I just
started to read the madwif source and hope I can do some contribution for
madwifi ad-hoc mode.
