The MacHTTP CVS repository now contains the source code used to build MacHTTP 2.6.1. The CVS tag for this version is "v2_6_1".

The venerable MacHTTP has a new version. You can download MacHTTP 2.6 from its SourceForge site. This release adds incremental feature improvements, several bug fixes related to file and folder aliases, and extended support for CGI AppleEvents. Check the release notes for details!

This is a major release of the original Classic Macintosh HTTP server and includes support for Thread Manager, folder aliases, virtual hosting, byte range serving, Windows virus protection, improved AppleEvent support, and numerous performance and stability enhancements.

MacHTTP 2.5b7 is now available from www.machttp.org. This version corrects log file problems, improves Win32 virus handling, and speeds start-up on machines with slow DNS. It also adds better support and security for HOSTFOLDER configurations.
