This is what is happening.
When I start up the first box appears, then I press "star flight" it responds with the "flightGear server online map", but than it Quits leaving the first box standing.
the script you see is the script I took from the "console app".
This is my issue.

Interesting, turning of bluetooth helped you. I have had a strange issue myself where I cannot run fg-2.0.0 on my iMac with bluetooth keyboard and mouse (fails with GraphicsWindowCarbon::grabFocusIfPointerInWindow). On my macbook pro I can run fg-2.0.0.
First time I select my favourite airport (not being the default KSFO) I will only see the plane and a horizon. If I let it be like that for a few minutes, fg will download information for the scenary. If I quit and restart, fg will display the scenery and the plane. Maybe this is the same effect you see? Have you tried to restart fg at the same airport? Do you have a live internet connection when you run? You need to select the option to download scenery on the fly.

When I quit the bleutooth connection it starts on, but then I see only the lines of the plane end landscape.????????

On my iMac I can run the git version released in August available at http://macflightgear.sourceforge.net/home/downloads Atlas, the mapping programming does not display the map properly though.
