I have a WXGA 1280x800 LCD monitor.
Unfortunatelly I haven't been able to make it look ok neither in X windows nor in framebuffer. Can lrmi help?
Running vbetest shows some modes but not 1280x800.
After googling I saw that another person used lrmi to discover that the magic vga number for 1280x800 is 0x360. However passing this number to vga=0x360 sais "Invalid mode".
Does it mean that since lrmi can't find it it's not there?
Or that the kernel should be recompiled?
