When calling Types of other Assemblys than log4net
(even System!!!) an error is thrown.

The bug appeared when I tried to add own appenders or
renderers.

Working code is attached.

    Which version of log4net are you using?

    Can you post your configuration that is failing. Also can you
    post the log4net internal debug that shows the type load
    failure.
