The files have changed because I found a bug that could cause crashes in special cases, the files that are up there now do not suffer from this.
Because development has continued in the interim there will also be more improvements.
There are so many improvements in this release I don't know where to start.
Loads of bugs and oddities are solved, key bindings are added, more configuration options are in.
It is NOT backward compatible with any previous releases.
The next release (0.2a) should be landing fairly soon, some of the issues in 0.2-preview have been resolved and the code has had some sharp edges rounded.
Biggest change - Keybindings will be in this release.
It has been around for a while now, but as it became quite hard to find so here's a link, it has basic info about the program it's use and its aims.

I would like to get some feedback on what the people who are downloading this are doing with it.
Any problems they are having, even if it's just "what do I do with this .tar.bz2 thing", so that I know what I can do to improve it in future (preferabally for the 0.2 release). At present I am just doing what it occurs to me to do, but, this has its limitations.
Anyway, anything about the website/program that you would like to see change, just email me and i'll see what I can do.... read more
It has been a long time coming, but, now it is here, enjoy.
This is a preview release, not an alpha, there are more features to come.
For details check the release notes.
The 0.2 preview will be released on Friday 13th Febuary.
This release is a complete rewrite and has, I hope, dealt with many of the problems of 0.1.
This release isn't is a feature binge, however there is now much more capacity to add features.
I'll spout some more in the release announcement.

The svn version of liveshow now has the functionality of 0.1, this might not seem like much, but, what it means is that the new structure for the program is in place.
The new structure is designed to enable development to be more responsive and easier, basically it is in smaller sections.
If you want to develop or test then now is a good time to jump in!
If you want to wait for the release then hopefully you won't be waiting much longer.... read more
I think the server side development should be pretty much done by the end of this week.
Loads of big changes in this release, mostly under the hood stuff, but, it will filter through in configurability and things like that.
Due to huge numbers of changes 0.2 will NOT be compatible with 0.1
LiveshowRMP now has an IRC channel on the Freenode network:
#liveshowrmp
This channel is for anything from support to suggestions. /join me there };-)>
0.1, a much improved file release is made!
As the changelog will tell you, its a load of bugfixes and tweaks.
It was in the svn for a long time, preventing further development from appearing in the stats. Development towards version 0.2 will now become visible.
The current svn will be made into the 0.1 release.
The svn will then be freed to allow me to bring what I have been working on on my system, but hasn't been possible to submit because it is unfinished.
So, just so you don't think its dead, that's the plan.
The 0.1a release is being retired due to being chronically buggy, it will stay on the download page for completeness only.
There are no plans to patch this release.
The much less buggy 0.1b release is on it's way, no date yet, but, many fixes.
For now please use the svn version: revision 31 or later, thankyou.
Something for you to sink your teeth into, if you want to give it a try go and grab a copy from the downloads page.
Obviously as an alpha release it is still unfinished in places, but the main parts of it are there.
0.1 alpha, "proof of the pudding", will be released on the 8th of Febuary.
