Hi, I'm working on a lirc driver for a device that receives IR-Signals. I found out that lirc counts the length of pulses and spaces in microseconds. Now I'm wondering which timing resolution is really required to receive most IR-Signals reliably. Since IR- Signals are modulated onto a carrier, the signals should be longer than the length of a carrier wave, right ? So, what timing resolution do other lirc devices achieve in reality ? How fast are IR-Codes ? Is 'polling every 200uS' save or won't that work ? bye, Robin Adams ro...@ad... |
