I am getting an error when upgrading from LinSSID Version 2.1 using the deb
    file just distributed:
    linssid_2.4-1_amd64.deb

When I execute the deb file I get:

"Error: Dependency is not satisfiable: libboost-regex1.54.0"

    My System/OS is:

    4x AMD FX(tm)-4130 Quad-Core Processor
Operating System Linux Mint 13 Maya

Try using your favorite package manager to install libboost-regex, version 1.54 or higher. If that doesn't fix things let me know.

      Hi,
libboost-regex1.54.0 is not available as a package in my Linux Mint 13
      Maya release,
only libboost-regex-dev_1.48.0.2_amd64.deb is listed. It seems a bit of work to get libboost-regex1.54.0 installed into my OS.
I'm not having any difficulties with LinSSID Version 2.1 as for me it works
quite well, so unless there is a real compelling reason to upgrade, I'll
stay with LinSSID Version 2.1 ???
      Thanks for your help!

There are a few small bug fixes and minor features added, but if 2.1 works OK then no urgent need to upgrade.

I presume you installed the 1.48 version of libboost-regex and the dependency was not satisfied?

As an alternative, you can temporarily bump the software source containing libboost-regex to a later Mint release, install the needed library, and then reset the software source to your earlier version. Most of the time that will work OK, but YMMV.

Yes, I installed the 1.48 version of libboost-regex and the dependency was not satisfied. I'll just stay with 2.1 for now. BTW, this is an incredible tool. It helped me out greatly in my neighborhood figuring out the wireless pattern and why I kept randomly losing my connection. I made some changes on my channel selection and antenna location and I've not dropped off line since. Thanks for your help!!!
