Thats a nice thing to do as a project !
I had an idea on this, so just thought of sharing it with you guys.
CollaborativeVNC as i understand, is providing shared remote control
session in a more controlled way where one client will do remote control
and rest all will be in remote view mode also remote control can be
delegated to other clients.
Now if this is what you are talking about then possibly this can be
implemented as an extension to libvncserver.
To understand about how an extension can be created, you can see the
tightvnc file transfer implementation for libvncserver, which is under
libvncserver\libvncserver\tightvnc-filetransfer directory of
Also you can see this mail sent by Johannes here on this mailing list.
Just go through the above mentioned stuff and see if your design for
implementing collaborativeVNC in libvncserver can be an extension. If
you guys can come up with such design then that would be really nice.
Good luck for your project work,
Happy coding :)
