Both GUI Language and Command Language are set wrong when selected in the welcoming window.
In the config file, those settings are saved as the language name (English, Spanish, ...) where it should be en, en_au, es, ...

    Only partially fixed.
Now, GUI Language is set for both in the config file (Command Language selection is ignored).

you are right. cmdline language still needs more tweaking, from the initial welcome window or main menu: Edit->Application Preferences.

    We need more developers apparently.

currently, the translation framework doesn't honor command language. The setting is supplied, but the handling method doesn't read it at all.
