I just successfully installed libbsb, and it seems to be working. I was just wondering - when you are converting a .kap file to tif, does it create a geotif with geographic information embedded, or does it just create a regular tif?
Thanks -
Michelle

bsb2tif does not create a GeoTIFF file, only a plain TIFF file. This feature is on the TODO list, but first requires a good understanding of the mapping between BSB metadata and GeoTIF metadata.
