#1344 Error processing payment

It looks there was a code regression and I'm getting a similar error again in 1.3.46 (or, maybe the same error) as bug #1105.

Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS, Linux 3.13.0-43, PostgreSQL 9.4.1, Perl 5.18.2, LSMB 1.3.46, Apache 2.4.7
