Adding employees in contacts is not possible. After retrieving code coming back with Vendor as contact not employee.
Also not the typical attributes for the employee are not appearing.
I GUESS IT HAS TO WITH MY FORMAL BUG 1263, BECAUSE I FOLLOWED ITS INSTRUCTIONS.
Consequence is for example: Add user.
Ten days before no problem!!!!

    Right now, the issue is that the workflow script is different. There isn't really a simple way around this. I will look for better ways to unify the two in future releases. For now, add employees under HR and customers/vendors/leads under Contacts.

    I did this but still get the bug 1263, however the employee is added, but unable to add the employee as user. The problem is that the employee has been read as "vendor" or as "customer". In previous editions this working perfectly. If I want to search for employee, which has been added in 1.4.5 I get this:

    Can't call method "can" on unblessed reference at LedgerSMB/Scripts/employee.pm line 213.

    dbversion: 1.4.5, company: fransautobranch_test

    This means a user can not be created!!!

    The other employees created with previous versions can be searched.

    To my primitive perspective it is perhaps "typo-omission"

    As I understood from further followups, this has been resolved in the latest version. However, in my view, the workflow scripts still need to be merged, hopefully for 1.4.7 or 1.4.8
