After trying for over an hour to solve compile problems with LCDex, I discovered RipperX, in Ubuntu its available using Synaptic Package Manager.
Has a similar Look and Feel, and no compiling to deal with.
Hope CDex is brought back to life at some point, was always my favorite under Windows.
