Is it possible to have the .l4j.ini - file in another directory than the .exe - file of my program? It would be great if it is possible to have this file for example in the Application-data-directory, because I want to have only the .exe-File in the Program-Files directory. In my program it is possible to change these sizes of the heap, therefore the .l4j.ini - file shouldn't be located in the Program-files-directory, because there shouldn't be any writing actions.
And I have another question, not concerning l4j especially:
Is it possible to change the inital/max heap size during my program (.exe) is running? Or do I have to stop und start the program again if I want to change it?
