Kubos is a modular CAD application which is in an early stage of development. Currently it comes in two versions:
Kubos itself will be an interactive modelling application with a simple interface.
[Kubos Script] can be used to create scripted objects by using the Python programming language. It is already relatively mature.
Thanks to the modularity other variants of Kubos could be developed easily to be used in other areas.
As of February 2014 Kubos is in a state where it can be used to create simple models. Advanced modelling operations are not supported yet. Furthermore there are still many minor issues which may make usage impractical.
Kubos Script is already quite usable, but requires knowledge about the OCC interface which is both complicated and badly documented. Future versions of Kubos will provide a simpler and better documented scripting language.
