Hi all, I am looking to enable mobile devices to host (Web) services and apparently Axis/Axis2 is too heavy for such devices. Is kSOAP2 both a server and a client engine or is it primarily a library for building Web service clients? Thanks in advance Demetris |

Hi! I don't know whether there is any active developer for this library. I just would like to port this stuff to Android platform. For this action I would like to ask your permission to do this. Is the license of this library BSD? Also the licenses of kXML2 and kObjects libraries are BSD I guess. What license should I choose for the Android version? Robert Bodo |

Hello everyone, I am new to ksoap, I have got a question regarding ksoap http authentication, I found about API for basic authentication, but not Digest authentication, so I am wondering if there is any way to make HTTP Digest authentication? Many Thanks! |

Hello, I have problem to send complex parameter from my BlackBerry midlet on my ASP .NET web service. SoapObject pgc = new SoapObject("http://aiss.actimage.de/routingservice/routing/", "PGC"); My client Code.. ********************************************* pgc.addProperty("size", "gros"); pgc.addProperty("pushed", "oui"); pgc.addProperty("name", "henrico"); SoapObject method = new SoapObject("http://aiss.actimage.de/routingservice/routing/", "FERSPutData"); method.addProperty("pgc", pgc); method.addProperty("data", new String(stringData)); method.addProperty("size", new Integer(data.length)); ********************************************** my server code... ********************************************** public String FERSPutData(???type??? pgc, String data, int size) ********************************************** 1) what type, in my WS method i had to choose to get(size, pushed and name) of my complex object? 2) Also, i think that namespace of the first SoapObject is wrong? What i had do specify as namespace for this example? Thanks in advance ------------------------------------- David AICARDI - dav...@ya... ACTIMAGE GmbH & Co. You replace your soap serialization envelope in the middle of your code when you assign it from the result of deserialize. That envelope does not have a "bodyOut" set, and therefore it complains. It isn't a very elegant complaint right now and I have written a note about it. Cheers James. > Hi all, > > I am trying to test serialization and deserialization > of ksoap2 message on a mobile client itself. Hello all. I am starting to try and gather examples and write up tutorials that might be interesting to people. I am currently attempting to do this on a wiki at ksoap2.seigel.info where I am jotting down and organizing ideas as I get a chance. Any feedback, suggestions, criticism, praise, etc....please post it here or get in touch with me somehow about it. I hope that things are going well for those who are new to the library and those who are old hat at using ksoap. I look forward to hearing from you. Cheers James. |
