I can't seem to get the Qt plugin to work correctly. What versions of Postgresql and Qt have people gotten to work successfully? Mine was working 'til my harddrive died :/ and I have no clue what versions of Qt and Postgresql I was using at the time.
Qt successfully compiles and so does the plugin, but for some reason krecipes says that the plugin isn't loaded.
Thanks!

I'm using PostgreSQL 7.3.8 with Qt 3.3.4, and previously used PostgreSQL 7.2.x with Qt 3.2.x (IIRC).
Is it this error that you are getting:
"The Qt database plug-in (QPSQL7) is not installed. This plug-in is required for using this database backend."?
If so, it looks like an installation issue.

Yay! Got it working. I needed an older version of Postgresql than I had. :) Compiled Qt against that and all is well.
hello,
i have the same errormesaage on debian etch qt4 and postgres 7.4.
is it:
1. the qt database driver? or
2. problems with the accounts in the database
It could potentially be either problem, unfortunately.
