In gaim, and in MSN Messenger when you connect you can set
your 'name' that the other person sees. Would be reat if we could
have that in Kopete.

according to forum you should be able to right click on the
little msn butterfly on the bottom of kopete and select
change nickname

Thanks. I hadn't found that "option" :-) It would make
sense to have the ability to set this "nickname" when you
actually add the account to Kopete ... and be able to
change it through the "Modify Account" section as well -
would be a bit more intuitive IMHO
