command line code paster for rafb.net / News: Recent posts

The source code has been refactored and improved though there is no change in the functionality. Those people who are interested in the source code can download the new version. The source package now includes a readme.txt file too, which includes the instructions on how to build the binary executable from the sources.

kodepaster is a command line tool to post the code(c, c++, php, text etc) to websites(rafb.net, cpp.sf.net etc) and use the link generated to share with the others, very helpful, say, in IRC channels. so no need to open the browser, copy the text from the file, hit 'paste' etc, everything is done in just one single step. Programming Language is automatically detected based upon the file extension. If you spend most of the time in IRC networks (discussing some code/text), then this tool might just be for you, give it a try!

1. The link generated will now be displayed on the standard output
2. If no nick is given using -n, user name from the environment variable USER is used.
