I use the version of kmymoney (1.0.2) in the ubuntu repositories for 9.10. When I first updated my computer, kmymoney would crash every time I tried to use direct connect to update my account. I deleted all the config files associated with kmymoney and aqbanking and set everything up again from scratch. For a short while everything seemed to be working fine. Then, earlier this week, it started crashing again. For a full day it would crash every time I ran the program and tried to update. Also, I have several accounts with different banks set up, so I don't think it was a problem with the remote server. Then, without making any changes on my part, it suddenly started working again and has been fine since.
When the error is present, it runs perfectly until I selected 'account->update account'. It then lets me set the date and asks for my password, Another box appears saying that it is connecting, then the program randomly shuts down. I've pasted the command line output below.

In case anyone is interested I've figured out a little more about the bug. The crashes still appear fairly regularly. I've noticed that when I try to connect to an account that crashed the program, regardless of how many times I reload the program and try the download it will crash. If I, however, download from another account it may or may not work. But, once I successfully download a transaction from another account, the previous one that would cause all the crashes will suddenly start working correctly.
