When attempting to enter the master file password I am receiving this error message and cannot log in. 0x000000D. How can this be fixed?

This implies a corrupt database or not a KeePass database. http://keepass.info/help/v1/errors.html
Are you sure you are attempting to open a KeePass V1 database?

    cheers, Paul

    Thanks Paul,
I am using v1.26 on my PC.
I sync to Dropbox for use on my mobile phone and I have no problems using it there.

I'd copy the file from the phone to the PC - outside Dropbox - and test that file.

We recommend V2 for use on multiple devices because you can easily sync changes made on different devices. We also recommend a local copy and a master copy to avoid data loss through changes made on different devices without syncing first.

I used the Repair Database File tool and it worked so I am back to baseline.

I will download V2 and try to set up a master copy as you suggested.

    Thanks for your help.
