Allow user-defined ExpiringSoonDays value
A lightweight and easy-to-use password manager

Please consider an option to allow the user to define the default
ExpiringSoonDays=nnn
It would be even better to allow deviations from that default at the Entry level. The edit screen could show the expiration date as it does now, with a "Warn me at nnn days" field set to the default value, where nnn could be modified as needed.
This would be useful, since some classes of entries (e.g., certificates) require a longer time to resolve the pending expiration than simple password changes.
Thanks for your support.
Agree. Very useful feature. There was ticket #473 with same request - marked as done, but where is this option now...
Right. That was version 1. Couldn't find it in V2.
Doesn't seem to be in either version, but as the request is still open....
cheers, Paul
In KeePass 1.x the option is available; it's documented on
http://keepass.info/help/v1_dev/customize.html
Best regards,
Dominik
Is it available in KeePass 2.x ?
Not yet (which is the reason why this FR is still open).
Best regards,
Dominik
Since KeePass 2.35, there exists a configuration option for this, see
http://keepass.info/help/v2_dev/customize.html#opt
Best regards,
Dominik
But there's no UI for setting this in either version, right?
Correct. For both editions, the configuration file must be edited.
Best regards,
Dominik
Thank you, Dominik.
