Hi,

It would be very useful if a user could create buttons that show entries by a selected tag.

eg create a button to show entries tagged as Favourite.

To do this a new action in Triggers is required to 'show entries by tag'. Hopeful it could be a user selectable tag from the list of used tags or at least the list existing tags as the 'show entries by tag' already does it.

ps I suggested this in the forum and Dominik asked me to post it here :-)

I've now added a trigger action 'Show entries by tag'.

Here's the latest development snapshot for testing:

    Thanks and best regards,

    Hi,

Thanks for that. It works with new Tags but not with my old Tags. I just get an empty list. I tried deleting and re-adding the old tag but it still does not work. If I create a new Tag then it works.

    Cheers, Mark

There are no 'old' and 'new' tags; all tags are treated the same and do not have any additional properties.

Make sure the 'old' tag is specified precisely.

    Best regards,
    Dominik

Hi, You are correct. It was my mistake. It was a typo between Favourite and Favourites. It now works as expected. Which means I can now get rid of some deliberate duplication. I was making a copy of my Favourite entries and placing the copy in a folder called Favourites. This is no longer needed. Tags work better in this case :-)

It would also be neat with this new feature if a trigger could be set to run it when the Keepass is first opened. I tried it and maybe I did something wrong again but it did work for me. I tried it with events initialised and started and ready.

    Regards, Mark
