Hi Dominik,

the TAN function is great. It would be very useful to enter "tan 45" as a search term so that KeePass would only show that TAN instead of all of the maybe 120.
IMHO, the only thing to be changed would be the naming of entries, so that it reads "TAN <number>".

Indexed TAN entries have <TAN> as title and the index as user name. The entered search string is splitted by whitespace and all terms must occur in the entry (see [1]). So, searching for 'TAN 45' indeed will return the TAN entry with index 45 (because 'TAN' is contained in the entry title, and '45' is in the user name). This may generate some additional results (e.g. when '45' is contained in the entry's UUID), but not that many.

An alternative solution is to search exactly for the index. For example, a quick search for //^45$// performs a search using the regular expression ^45$ (see [2]), which returns all entries that have a field with the value '45' (exactly, not just as substring).

    Best regards,
    Dominik
