Unable to save database with Mono 4.0 on Linux

I recently updated to Mono 4.0.1 and now when I try to add a new entry to keepass I get an error like:

Internal error (no progress possible) Flush

And it fails to update the database.

I tried to start from console but I see no exceptions thrown.
