thanks for your work!
It would be nice if it would be possible to open KeePass1 kdb files using KeePass2.

You can only import KDB files because the V1 file manipulation is not built into V2 - it uses a DLL.

As the old KDB format does not support all features of KeePass 2.x, you must create a new KDBX file and import your old KDB file into it via 'File' -> 'Import'.
