jose seems to have problems finding the fonts.

As a work-around, run jose with the command line option
    -Djava.2d.font.path, for example:

    java -jar jose.jar -Djava.2d.font.path=.../jose/fonts
    de.jose.Main

If this doesn't work, copy the files from jose/fonts to your
    Java installation directory, for example:
    cp .../jose/font/* /usr/java/jre/lib/fonts

    Hope this helps.

Oops, there was a spelling error in the previous message.
The correct command line option is "sun.java2d.fontpath".

    java -jar jose.jar -Dsun.java2d.fontpath=.../jose/fonts
    de.jose.Main
