As we see Java is environment which encapsulates all computer resources.When we developing application we do this on top of Java as framework.All accounting systems have many common features but are implemented differently.I think we can build well considered framework to accelerate accounting software development no matter it is web based or console based.The main idea is to build model and controller.Other view part can be implemented differently by other vendors or inside this project as default implementation.
