Hello everybody. I subscribed you to this list because I once received eMail from you regarding my OpenSource project jack, the GPLd DAE/MP3 encoder frontend. I want to let you all know that I moved the development base over to SourceForge, with all known advantages: * CVS server * mailing lists * discussion forums * bugtracking * more. Visit http://sourceforge.net/project/?group_id=5557 or http://jack.sourceforge.net to see it all. I hope that I now can concentrate on the actual development work and will be able to get closer to version 3.0. If you have problems with jack (especially if I didn't yet respond to your eMail), please check out the latest CVS version of jack on the project's homepage or get the (nightly generated) tarball at http://cvs.sourceforge.net/cvstarballs/jack-cvsroot.tar.gz . Then check if the problem is still there and if so, register it in the bug database or post your problem to one of the puplic forums. Lately I didn't have much time so I may have lost your bug report. If you don't want to be on this list, just unsubscribe yourself from it via the projects homepage. Send me eMail if you're having problems with it. Ah yes. This mailing-list is called jack-announce and is obviously intended for announcing jack-related news. Other mailing-list can be added if the discussion forums are not sufficient. If you have any suggestions, just contact me. One last thing: I could need some help, I don't have time for (re-)designing jack's homepage or to keep the documentation up-to-date. Somebody with a little experience in programming python would also be of use; I'd be glad to share the workload. If you think you're up to one of those tasks, please contact me. Much fun using jack and its new home, and cu arne -- Arne Zellentin za...@us... |
