Sometimes when I enable WiFi, it is on, but in a few seconds it crashes the Android userspace and jumps to the boot animation. Later then it shows the userspace for a few seconds, and crashes again.
I think I may find the problem. Every time I build the kernel, it appends the git commit id at the version. While inserting modules checks the version string, the kernel may reject inserting the module.
Newer builds should be working.

There is still random crashes (boot animation loop) when enabling WiFi. Need to investigate.
