Instead is great fun for Interactive fiction and goes beyond books to support games with art. If you know lua you are on your way to making games. Hi I'm Ember Leona also punkroku on web I tried Instead a few years back and was suprised but it simple gui its easy to just do what you need to. I made a few themes and got to play a cool port from a Spectrum VX game called Kayleth. The power of this IF program lies in bridging the gap between languages there are games that you can play in english then try in japanese. You can help translate if you wanted get in and be a part of the community based in Russia, and concealed in curtains or whatnot. I enjoy this program and suggest minor edits to improve it one would be using imagemaps or pixel pointing on graphics to make this support point and click games that woul#nt be difficult with lua. with the new launcher i think you can get games from within the app. it also supports pellet quests and different interpretters . Some games have no text at all like satori which is a satire of games and some are memorable like escape from the toilet[bathroom].
