We needed to put subtitles on the Oscars recap show to be able to broadcast it with very short turnaround time. 90 minute program on air 90 minutes after the feed finished.
We used Ingex to record h.264 .mov in 10 minute chunks and were able to use them to timecode the subtitles quickly in our subtitling software.
Everything was ready an hour after the feed finished because Ingex allowed us to start working from the first chunk.
