I wish there was a way to re-arrange application icons
on taskbar, e.g. some way to drag (shift+drag, etc ...)
them with mouse.

    Changing the order in toolbar and restarting icewm seems to
    me good icewm way to me.. If you meant re-arraging the
    applications displayed in taskbar then it could be interesting.

    +100. I'm very need for this feature. Please.

    And, possible, group/ungroup some certains applications in taskbar as separately advanced feature. (Like automatic group feature in M$ XP).

    icewm-1.3 has this feature, drag the taskbar items with right mouse button.
