#8 Some problems and fixes

[P Cause]

I downloaded and was trying to run on ActivePerl 5.8.
There were some problems with HTTPMailClient trying
to user XPATH literals as URI. I made the fixes and I
think a few other small fixes and could get the
get_httpmail.pl to work after the fixes. I've uploaded my
version as an attachment.
