Using THE 3.3RC1 and Regina REXX-Regina_3.6(MT) 5.00 31 Dec 2011. run_os seems broken. This command writes the output of DIR to a new window then hangs THE:
REXX IN.0=0;OUT.0=0;ERR.0=0;R=RUN_OS('DIR C:\USERS /AD','IN.','OUT.','ERR.')
