When using hdparm upon a PowerPC trying to registering
a IDE device, the kernel tries to free recoures witch
are not in use.

This is caused by the scanning of the cmd-line
parameters. The parameters are read as integers. This
works fine when using 2 byte addresses like in a x86
environment. But it fails when reading 4 byte addresses
used in a PowerPC

    Kernel bug, not hdparm. Closed.
