I have two servers i either administer or co-admin.
Adminmod has a definite memory leak. Here are the
machine stats:
Machine number 1: Athlon XP 3000+ with 1 gig ram and
two 80 gid hdd's running rh9.
This machine hosts several servers including 2 cs
servers. One is a private server with no mods. Its
memory usage when full(13 slots) gets to about 80 megs
but then goes back down to @65 megs when the scrim is
over. The primary public server runs metamod and
adminmod latest versions along with hlguard. Upon
restarting of the process ram usage is using @65 megs.
Over the course of 24 hours(this server spends about
half the day full) memory usage grows to sometimes
200-250 megs but always gets to at least 110 megs. When
the server empties the ram is not returned. I have
watched this proces consume 400 megs of ram and by that
time it had become so slow and laggy i had to restart
it. The longer the server stays full the faster the
memory usage grows.
server #2: p-4 1.4 ghz w/384 megs pc800 RDARM. The
machine run CentOS 3.3(RHEL AS clone) 1 2 gig drive for
booting and 1 4 gig drive to hold the servers.
This machine hosts the a teamspeak server and the a
custom maps cs server. I ran it as a vanilla cs server
for about 3 months. This is a 10 slot cs server. Ram
usage by the process never went over 100 megs and the
ram always went back to @65 megs when empty. I just
installed metamod and adminmod two days ago. This cs
process is now consuming 105 megs with the cs server
empty. I restarted the process and it went back down to
@65 megs. Over the course of 24 hours the usage is back
up to 105 megs on an empty server. This server is not
running hlguard. This needs to be looked at please..
