I am using Gyache 1.2.11 (latest version as far as I know) in Arch Linux. I installed and compiled from source from the AUR repository. Everything works well, except the picture sharing... When I start the picture sharing and try to share pictures with my friends they always claim the images are too blurry to see anything at all. They use the Windows Yahoo IM client, I think this must be a bug or a minor incompatibility between the two client. However the pictures my friends are sending to me are cleary visible, no blurriness. I have also experienced this bug in PCLinuxOS, and other linux distros I have tried.

I have same exactly same symptoms, but in addition from the photos I've sent, only the first one shows up - as a blurry photo. Or maybe the better word would be "pixelated". Also, I seem to be able to send this one photo only once per Gyache instance. Is it possible that this has something to do with Yahoo's file transfer servers? I seem to have also problems with that - actually I'm unable to send files at all (receiving again works).

I've been testing this myself on another (Windows) computer with the official Yahoo client. Here is a screenshot of how it looks like on that side: http://i.imgur.com/TMjJL.png

    1.2.11 installed from ppa:adilson/experimental repo, Ubuntu 10.10.

The images are pixellated, not only blurry. In fact they look like a very small thumbnail streched to full size.
