Hi, is there a way of reflashing the nand flash of overo? at the moment i can´t boot from flash or sd card. i see nothing on the console output when i apply power. regards, Nikolai Krassin |

Hi Nikolai, This situation can occur in case you somehow get some crashing code flashed into the first block of the NAND. Since the block isnt empty the OMAP ROM code assumes it can boot using NAND (and then crashes), and thereby doesnt try MMC booting afterwards. In order to recover from this situation you can use an approach similar to the BeagleBoard Recovery method, since the Gumstix boards are configured to try peripheral booting prior to internal memory booting.
