It is possible that MPC can open some streaming media but most are delivered in Flash format and I have had no success with that. Capture a streaming Flash presentation as an FLV file and it will play.
This can be accomplished via a video downloader utility. The Firefox Download Helper add-on works well…. http://downloadhelper.net

This might sound stupid, but is it possible to play video links in MPC? specially live streaming ones one and YouTube.
