Is there a way tot 'hook'this to let's say MonoDev? So that it registers what you working on? Or is it too much trouble? ^*^

If there is a command line interface into MonoDev, you should be able to have the "Switch Project Command" tell MonoDev what you are doing.
If you want to have MonoDev tell gnotime, then that's a different problem.
