jumps the first track

when start encoding a full cd, i see the extract speed going negative for the first track, it is normal from the second track on. the status window doesn't report any errors, and says that the track has been successfully extracted and encoded, which is untrue. only tracks after the first are correctly extracted and encoded.
when i try to extract and encode only one track, it ejects the cd immediately, as if it had already finished the work (with success message in the status window, but no encoded track in the output directory).

I have experienced the same problem now on two seperate Ubuntu installations, both Edgy & Feisty Fawn. I ripped 13 cd's this morning, the first few ripped ok, then Grip skipped the first track on the last four CDs and now does the same whenever ripping a CD.

I find sometimes the first and second tracks are skipped, with ripping only taking place from the 3rd track. As far as Grip is concerned it has ripped all tracks. In all cases Grip reports "Ripping track 1 to <filename.wav> Rip finished.
