what happened to the setup program? I have a version of .8 and just downloaded the latest edition, but could not find the setup program for this latter version. Will this problem be fixed in the near future?

python setup.py install
should work with all versions. If it's not in one of the packages, that's a packaging bug (and an odd one!) -- please let me know which version specifically and I'll double-check.
