#1 saved history

I'm not sure... but could it save history in a file
like .bash_history or .gdb_history... say named
.gqlplus_history? Is this a feature of readline that I
must turn on? Hmmm... would you take a patch if it
requires it and I do it anywhoo?

Hi,

I'm not sure if readline has this feature. If it does, I guess one should
be able to find how to use it in readline documentation. Otherwise,
I'll look into what it takes to implement this - when I return from vacation -
I agree it would be useful.
