When launching gprename via the command line, if the path argument uses . or .. then gprename exits with a nonzero status and with the following error message:
variable not allowed to be undef where GtkTreeIter is wanted at /usr/bin/gprename line 1532.
I am running gprename 2.6.5, compiled from source on Gentoo.
For example, "gprename ./folder" will fail with the above error message.
My apologies, I just noticed that there was a newer version available. I just installed 20140325, and the same issue exists, however the error message is now:
Permission denied for this folder!
just don't use . or .. when opening gprename :D
