#73 How do I convert a DVD to an .avi?

Hey what's up? The website at http://gordianknot.sourceforge.net/ is down, there is no help menu in the program, the interface is extremely technical & complex looking, & it is not at all clear how to do this simple task of converting a DVD to an .avi. I am being instructed to "set the correct path to DVDDecrypter.exe." I have no idea what this is, how to find it, or haw to make these settings. I cannot find a settings or options console. The website at http://www.dvddecrypter.com/ leads to Melbourne IT Limited and does not seem relevant. Is this software really usable at present, for an average, less technical user? Thanks so much for all your good work.
