I had two local files open in Gnotepad+ 1.3; when switching between them to compare them, gnotepad+ segfaulted. I got the error message:

"Application "gnp" (process 9622) has crashed due to a fatal error. (Segmentation fault).

This is repeatable. After I open the second document, if I go back to the first, then go back to the second, it segfaults every time.

The two files involved are a small .abw file and a small .rtf file (I was comparing the two).

This might be a known bug as mentioned in the gnotepad FAQ (under the question, "Sometimes, switching between documents crashes gnotepad.").

Can you provide more details? e.g., system configuration, the output from "gnp --info", a gdb stack trace, etc. See the README on what kind of information to provide in a bug report.

Jim was able to verify this bug as mentioned in the FAQ.
Using "--disable-docunload" when running configure as a
    workaround.
